July & August 2020
As we ease out of lockdown and into the summer, life is looking a little more familiar. It’s been such a strange time, and it feels like many families are keen to try and have as normal a summer holiday as possible. But with trips aboard unlikely and many places still shut, we will all need a sprinkle of creativity when planning days at home or trips out with our children. We hope Little Muddy Boots Club can help. We have taken our normal Summer Holiday Forest School sessions online; pulling together our favourite stories and Forest School inspired activities so that your child can enjoy 6 weeks of outdoor creative play.
It is more important than ever to get our children playing outside. Research has shown that spending time in nature helps to reduce the symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, reduces anxiety, improves low mood, and boosts the immune system.
Every Thursday, we will be adding new stories, suggested games and lots of fun creative activities. You’ll only need a handful of natural materials (think sticks, mud and leaves!), an odd sock and few basic items from your kitchen and craft cupboard.
Once we’ve shared the week’s activities, it’ll remain online all summer so you can dip in and out whenever it suits!
We would love you to join us on a summer of outdoor adventure, so sign up today for just £10 for 6 weeks.
