Join Us in Class

From September 2020, we returned to our beautiful 6 acre site and resumed classes. It has been so lovely to welcome little ones and their families back through the garden gates again.
Covid-19 has meant there have been some changes, including smaller class sizes, very regular hand washing and individual family resource kits. Before you arrive to your first class, we will send you our welcome pack with full details, so you know exactly what to expect. Our primary focus is to keep your family and our staff safe, whilst ensuring you reap the benefits of outdoor learning.
Each session includes an initial 10-15min free play before we start on a collection of group and individual activities that focus on the week’s theme.
During free play, children can study and care for the plants they are growing in the garden (e.g. sunflowers), make mud pies and magic potions in the mud kitchen, play hide and seek in the woodland, try out the water wall and much more.
The group leader will then encourage the children to try and collection of activities, during which they will dabble in maths and science, expand their vocabulary and knowledge of the chosen topic and create one (or more!) craft to take home.
The sessions are focused on the benefits of playing and learning together outside, with the freedom of space and fresh air. And we always encourage parents to get stuck in as you’ll sometimes find you learn something new too!
Once you’ve booked onto Little Muddy Boots, you’ll receive a confirmation email and information pack.
If you have any further questions, don’t forget to check out our FAQ area or email us direct.

Class Timetable
Weekday classes currently take place every morning and on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Please see exact times and age groups in the details below.
We do ask that weekday classes are to be booked in 6 week blocks. For example, you can attend Monday 10.45-11.45am sessions each week for 6 weeks. Pay as You Go, in this ‘new normal’ is not possible. We need to do this to ensure we keep the same family groups together, and to keep the necessary records to help with the NHS Track and Trace service.
